Rapid Viral Test Locations in Porto

Hello Everyone

We will be flying out of Porto airport going back to the US on May 30 @ 5AM. I understand that we need a 24 hour test prior to departure so that will be May 29 which is a Sunday @ 5AM?
Do we need an appointment? If yes, can you share a link or location where we can get tested? I am so stressed out with all the requirements.
Thank you for your help.

The return test can be done anytime the day prior to departure. There is not a 24 hour limit.

You should make an appointment but I don’t have a specific place identified at the moment, though I’ve been told that many pharmacies do it. I’ll be leaving from Porto as well several days later. I’ve been on other travel boards and will see if I can find specific locations.

Okay, here are the different sites I found; I can’t verify what they’re like but I’ve seen them all posted on one travel site or another. The first one was provided by someone who just booked on the site a couple of weeks ago. I don’t know if the second one is for tourists, too, or just for residents. I will probably go with the first one or the 3rd one unless we find one when we are there.

Hi!

All the 3 places mentioned by Progol can be used by foreigners. The 1st is a Pharmacy at the beggining of Rua das Flores (Largo São Domingos, in front of DOP restaurant), the 2nd is at the end of Rua das Flores, in front of São Bento train station (usually there is a queue of about 10 people or less - it used to be a lot more people a few months ago), and the 3rd is not in Porto, but in Vila Nova de Gaia, inside the new area of museums, shops, etc, called World of Wine, just below Yeatman Hotel.

There are at leas two others that I saw: in Ribeira, at Praça do Infante, and at Rua das Carmelitas, just left to Livraria Lello (here the queues are to the booking store, not the testing center).

Thanks so much, Helena! I hoped you would chime in! This is very helpful and I'm reassured we will have no problem finding a test to return!
