In April in Ireland -- particularly in Donegal -- you can get almost anything. Be prepared for nighttime temperatures just above freezing or perhaps quite warm; midday temperatures anywhere between 40 and 60 Fahrenheit; probably windy; rain on some days; some sunshine. Pack layers and a good wind-and shower-proof outer jacket, and don't leave out the sunglasses.
