Rainy Days
Hello Everyone,
I will be visiting the Asturias side during the fist week of June.We had planned to visit
some beach areas ( Llanes), as well as Picos de Europa and Senda del Oso.
According to the weather report it might be raining during those days.
If that is the case do you recommend that we should still do Picos de Europa and Senda del oso?
Not sure if the rain would make this difficult to accomplish? If anyone has any othe alternative recommendations to do since it will be Raining, Please I am all ears =)
Thank you.

Well, all the north of Spain is a very rainy area, so just get well equipped. There are plenty of hiking trails of different lengths that can be easily done even under the rain. Beach is not much of an option in June in this area, water will be very cold and nice weather is not always assured.

I was in the area for several weeks two summers ago. We had a mix of cloudy/rainy and beautiful sunny. I planned usually two nights in each place to up the odds that one of the days would be sunny. For example - the day we got to the Picos (Potes) it was cloudy. We drove into the mountains and it was a lovely drive but lots of the mountain tops were in clouds. The next day it was sunny and OMG what a difference.
Here is my trip report with photos (I left out most of the cloudy ones since the sunny ones were better but there are still a few taken on cloudy days). I don't recall any real total washout days except for the first week when I was in Basque France - that had horrid weather. You really can't predict.

I didn't have trouble finding interesting things to do indoors -- but then, I enjoy museums and churches, etc. Here's a link to my trip report:
