Vacations may be an excellent time to dispose of old underwear. Most men should have at least 10 undies WAY past their prime. Take them, wear them, and throw them away!

Funny that you should ask about this today. Last summer I bought one pair of the Tilley's men's briefs in the Toronto store to try. They are great. You can wash them out in the sink, roll them in a towel, lay out on a chair or on the bed and in about two hours they are totally dry! Not only that, but they are incredibly comfortable for those of us who perspire heavily in that area. I decided I wanted to buy some more, but had forgotten the name of the company and there is no tag in them at all. I just did a search on google for "men's travel underwear" and found the Tilley site -- yes, then I rembered that is what I have. Try www.tilley.com They even have a list of stores by city that handle them. However, of the five stores listed for my town only one actually had them. Ironically they are $17 a pair on the website (plus shipping) but $20 a pair at my local store. Since I wanted quite a few, I just ordered mine from the website.

By the way, the idea of taking old ones and throwing them out is a good one, but I'll be gone for 92 nights. I simply don't have 92 pairs of old briefs!!!

Tillys---great stuff! I bought one pair to try out and they are very comfortable. My wife convinced me to buy two more pair for an upcoming trip to China for 2 weeks. The things are expensive, but man are they comfortable! Beats carrying around the underwear or doing the throw away trick.
Plus, they do dry very fast.

OK, I didn't really think that I would join in this conversation but....my son is a tennis pro during the summer and sometimes he has this awful rash in a most sensitive area so do you think this Tilley's might be a soltuion?

We're bordering on "too much information" here, but yes. I suffer from the heat and perspiration rash as well, and the Tilley's seem to help prevent that. Not only do they dry quickly, but unlike Jockies or Calvin Kleins or whatever, they don't seem to hold the moisture when you wear them in hot weather, so 'viola' no rash and irritation.
Meanwhile I don't know what the secret some of you have, but I have washed out Jockie shorts and left to dry even in front of an air conditioner all night, and when I put them on in the morning, they are still quite damp. And yes, I rolled them in the towel first.
