Question on Velazquez exhibition at National Gallery
I think I may try to book for the very last day, January 21, in the evening, since it is open late. Is that a bad idea to cut it so close? Will it be mobbed?
Also, will the rest of the gallery be open until very late, or just the exhibition part? I'm not quite sure from looking at the website.
Thanks.

I'm pretty sure it'll be mobbed, but they're supposed to have timed tickets, which controls how many visitors are allowed per time slot.
If you want to go, I'd suggest booking your ticket ASAP before it's all sold out.
BTW, are you still home in Dallas or back in the UK? Did you go to the Van Gogh @ DMA?

Thanks. I did plan to book in advance.
I am in Dallas until Monday, at which point I fly back to the UK. I saw both the Van Gogh and the Monet/Cranich. I really loved the Monet/Cranich. The Van Gogh was good, but I got a little tired of all the grain!
