Question on Provence

Hello,

We will be staying in St. Remy de Provence for four full days at the end of May. I am debating whether to include a tour of the Camargue as one of the days. I would love to hear opinions as to whether it is worth it. We will have stayed in Rapallo Italy for four days and then four days in Antibes and St. Remy is out last stop before returning home. Thank you in advance for your comments.

Worth it ... compared to what? it really depends on your interests and your priorities. Honestly, none of us can say whether YOU would find it "worth it."

FWIW, I'm glad I spent some time there. But I had nearly a month in Provence; it seems that you have about one week so you will need to be very selective. You might find some useful information in my trip report. The section on La Camargue starts with post # 169. A stellar month in southeastern France

The Michelin Green book should be helpful for you. Lots of places you can go to from a base in St Remy

I agree! It provides excellent coverage of the area.

There's so much to see in Provence, I would hesitate to take time away from St Remy with just 4 days there. That said, my last TR (post#57 and after) has some Camargue coverage if it helps you deliberate :
