Puglia, july 2008
I've started planning for the summer holidays this year...
Puglia it is... We are planning to go 3 weeks, 2 weeks somewhere at the Ionian sea, and one week in the upper parts of Puglia.
We do not mind daytripping for 80km one way. We = 2 kids (12 and 9), 2 adults ( a lot older).
Any general info?
Any suggestions for residences or hotels?
Zerlina, any lightER red wines?

Hi Baldrick - If you are looking for a week in northern Puglia I'd recommend the Gargano Peninsular.
We spent a lovely week there based at Pugnochiuso. Here are some views:

We spent 10 days in Puglia last May. Check out my trip report on this board called "My Party in Puglia". If you have any specific questions afterwards I would be happy to try and help. We LOVED it !!!
