Nutella: We took the TGV from Paris to Arles. Stayed at the Hotel le Amphitheatre (lovely little hotel) and made day trip to Avignon by train, with bus to St. Remy. Absolutely loved all three towns, and no car needed!

Did you take this trip yet, or are you planning it far in advance?

Planning a trip to Paris & ______. I have been hesitant to travel to southern France (no car) due to time constraints. We have 1 week in Paris and 1 week for another destination. My husband prefers the coastline.

Since transportation does not seem to be an issue in the Coastal area of Province, can someone let me know the length of train travel time from Paris to Avignon or Arles?

Appreciate your assistance.
