off topic but my son of that age enjoyed our half day at Aqua Splash, by the Biot train station - a water park which was great in the hot sun. Biot is between Cannes and Nice.

There's a very active bike/skating path along the Promenade des Anglais, but I've never seen guided tours there. However, there's a tourist office on the Promenade located very close to the Palais de la Mediterranee hotel, and maybe they'd have some information for you.

we just got back from Nice.
Promenade des Angles is jammed with cars and people. The bike path is taken over by joggers and skaters.

sorry ann,
I don't know what you are talking about.
Do I like Nice ? Yes, love it.
Is the city jammed with cars? Yes, it is.

also, the construction of the tram line does not help. A good number of streets are dug up, taxis are slower, on some lines the buses are 10-15 minutes late.
Mind you, this was the beginning of May. The problems can only multiply with the summer invasion.
