problems raileurope.com site

I have been trying for several days to get tickets for Eurostar travel , Paris to London, October 30, through the raileurope.com/usa site. It walks me all the way through to asking personal info, travel dates, fares, etc., but when I go to checkout my computer displays a message indicating that the page cannot be displayed. Has anyone had similiar problems? Any suggestions or alternatives?

I would greatly appreciate your help.

Hi peter,

Try it through the French national system SNCF, it will be cheaper. For country - leave it at France. Choose the e-ticket not the hard copy. You will get an confirmation number which you bring to the train station along with your passport and the CC that you charged the ticket to.

GOod Idea ira..but they only take reservations 60 days in advance on the French site so Peter will have to wait if he wants the SNCF tickets. etickets are only good for Prem fares as I understand it.

Why don't you work out your schedule on line then just call the 800 number and place the order. It is more expensive than going thru the French site but you have tickets in hand before you leave.

If you're going to deal with RailEurope and I have done so many times..CALL them on their toll-free number. Don't waste any more time on the non-functioning website.

"Of course", he ejaculated, slapping his forehead with the back of his shapely, yet masculine hand.

However, I just simulated a booking through raileurope and it worked.

Just a hunch here, but do you have your Internet Options set to allow cookies ? If not, then when you get to the final checkout screen of any online shopping site, that site will not remember your information and will display 'the page cannot be found".
