Private Chef - Catered Dinner - Praiano, Italy

Hello,
Our dilemma of the day is finding a private chef to come to our rented villa in Praiano (Amalfi Coast) -- one who doesn't think he's Molto Marion when he quotes us. Our only price estimate for 8 people has been about $140 per person. Can anyone help?

Hi S,

I'll do it for $75 pp, you pay for the food and wine plus provide me transportation to/from Praiano.

What would the same menu cost you at a local resto?

Mario Batali, folks. Yes, the price seems high, but I don't think it's outside the expectations, given the area. Hope someone can help you out.

Sam: When you arrive, walk into a restaurant that you like and ask if they know anyone. If that fails, walk into a hotel or two and ask at reception.

Was that price with food and wine included? Be sure to ask.
