PREMS - what a deal!

I just book PREMS for the first time , Paris - Strasbourg : 22 euros each way!

Absolutely - we did a night train from Barcelona to Paris for about 60E - that was a deal!

curious as to how far in advance you booked to get the great - yes great deal?

I booked today for July 11 (dep) - July 12th (return).
The same price is not available for ALL dep. and ret.
but it was o.k. for me.

That's a great fare! We got PREM's fares in 2008 and I was thrilled. My husband finally understood what I was doing 'mucking about' on Fodor's as I certainly wouldn't have known about them if it wasn't for all the lovely people here.

agree with cathies,
I got the info. for Renfe web. fare (60% off) and PREMS
on Fodors...what a helpful group of people!

and the point should be clear-book as early as possible to lock in a great fare and be flexible as to time of train -as danon said not all trainshad that great fare, even three months out
