And yes thin, this YOUNG geezer did break down the day before leaving, and sprinkled a little xanax on my lunch!
Watching "Big Bang Theory" auf Deutsch and planning tomorrow's trip to ?Neuchatel....good night!

No coffee, just iced tea and a buttered roll, ate in (still a growlly travel stomach). Spent this beautiful day in Neuchatel, where it was 22 degrees. 'Only' dropped to 40 F overnight! I like cool, no like rain! Riot of church bells right now-wonder why @ 5:25 pm? Feel like sitting along the river Aare tonight for dinner...

Sorry, too late to help. Back in the US two days now.
Wonderful weather for first 8 days (mid-to-upper 60s & sunny), with rain and fog on the final two-my hiking days on Mt. Rigi!
Doggie had his big ACL repair 12 hours after I got home. Recovering well so far. Finally became acquainted with western, french-speaking Switzerland and reveled in several "off the beaten path" sights...so glad I was able to go! TR before Thanksgivivg ;-) .

I ldon't know which is worse. The pre-trip panic attacks I have or having a lovely trip end. It always takes the first couple of days for me to actually relax and forget home cares and worries. Then, on return, I want to escape again to the trip.
