Pre-theatre London restaurant recommendation
I am going to try to get the same day discount tickets to a show in London, so I will not know what theatre I will be going to, but can you recommend a good place to have dinner before a show. I don't want to spend "too" much time or money, but I figure there has to be some good choices. Thanks

My family really enjoyed Sarastro restaurant. http://www.sarastro-restaurant.com/
Their Tenor menu is a very good value at 12.50. I had the raisin chicken and it was very good.
The decor in Sarastro is very unique.
Have Fun! Laurie

We've had a couple of pre-theatre meals at Sugar Reef, near Piccadilly Circus, and been very satisfied.
Service was fast and friendly and food very tasty, and great value - they usually have pre-theatre deals

I recommend Belgo Centraal. Fun place serving Belgian fare inclu lots of beer, mussels and fries. It is in Soho area and it has a "Beat the Clock" deal. Btw 5-6:30pm, you pay the price of the time you order. So if you get there at 5pm, your meal is just £5.
