Hello I am planning 2 weeks for prague and germany. starting my journey from prague for 2 days then nurenberg and rothenberg. is it possible to get e ticket for my journey as i am in asia and print at home.I want to do Royal Castles of Neuschwanstein & Linderhof but what i feel taking this day trip from munich might not allow me have enough time .my thought is go a day before to fussen and take a trip from there.and then come back to munich.from munich which part I should cover?I still 4 days .

This info may help...we took a German bus from the Prague train station nonstop to the Nuremberg train station. I purchased the tickets on line before we left the US. Easy 3 1/2 hour ride in a comfortable bus that even had a tiny restroom. Luggage was stored in the belly of the bus.

The fastest and most frequent direct connection between Prague and Nuremberg is by intercity bus.
You can (and should) buy tickets in advance at bahn.com or via busradar.com

For rail travel within Bavaria (Nuremburg - Munich, day trips from Munich) you can use the Bayern Ticket - a day pass for unlimited travel with regional rail services and (most) buses in the whole state of Bavaria. Some restrictions reply, e.g. you cannot start before 9am on weekdays, and no highspeed trains. No reservations required or possible.

If you don't like cramped long-distance buses (I don't!) you can take a comfortable train from Prague to Nuremberg from just €15, simply book at https://old.cd.cz/eshop/default.aspx making sure you enter 'Cheb' in the 'via' box.

You print your own ticket.

Buses are also quicker than trains to Nurnberg from Prague and reports have these are not 'cramped buses' but comfy coaches - cheaper usually and quicker. Takes you to the Nurnberg train station area.

That depends on the fare. A "First minute Europe" ticket of the CD is czk 295 (€11.30). And the bus is quicker - well, it should be. But then I've seen more than one of those buses arriving late in Nürnberg Hbf.

The bus was roomy and comfortable. I was on one side of a table/counter next to a professor from Virginia and my sweetheart was across from me sitting next to the professor's wife. I dozed most of the way as I had an upset stomach...too much paprika the night before in my entrée?...and the wife pulled out some Pepto Bismol tablets for me. I used the bathroom a few times. The trip was smooth and quiet in a summer drizzle and ended up being significantly faster than the train by about 4 hours.

When we arrived in Nuremberg, I could see our hotel's sign, Hotel Victoria, directly across the street. Definitely was the best way for us to go all the way around.

Buses are about 1 1/4 hours faster than the train which takes a round about route -not 4 hours. Still significantly faster.

palen i am by going by train as mantioned in sead 61 and fare was around 15 euro .i am talking train around1.30.and no transfer.

Thanks - I too would take a train -especially so cheap - trains are just way more comfy than even the most comfy bus-you can easily get up and walk around- easily go to the loo, etc.
