Prague to Budapest
Hi
I would love to travel to Hungary from Prague by flight. I have been searching for cheap flights from easyjet, ryanair, but they don't fly this route. I need to come back to the UK and fly out again.
I would like to get flight tickets from travel agency in Prague, how do I get about doing this ? Please help. Do they speak English? Thanks.

You are not going to find any bargains on this route. It's not a very popular route for leisure travelers, thus no budget airlines. It may be possible to save few pennies going through a local TA, but I would not be counting on any substantial reduction.
Expedia is showing a R/T for about $350 on Czech Airlines.
A train may be the better option. It only takes about 6 hours between Prague and Budapest.

Skyeurope flies the route, this according to a Hungarian travel agency that offers tickets for as little as HUF 11,960 (around $55 - $60 if I did the exchange correctly), plus tax/fees.
A number of airline routes are cheaper if booked in, and for travel originating in Hungary. I believe the same would apply to the Czech Republic, but don't know a travel agency there. Doubtless there is at least one good one, and finding one to deal in English should not be a problem. A web search should help, absent other responses.

I don't know what agent told you that SkyEurope flies this route but I looked at www.skyeurope.com and checked their route map and it does not show any flights between Prague and Budapest. Maybe the agent is selling some funny tickets?

I just did the same as AAFrequentFlier. I guess it is possible to do the trip on Skyeurope, but the routing would be imposible -- notwithstanding that the fare is posted on a good agency's web site.
In any event, the comments on locally-purchased airfare remain.
Another quick search I did identify roundtrip fares from $185 (plus taxes?) on Czech airline -- that from a Czech agency for an arbitrary specific date, so another date might be less costly. Travelocity's cheapest was $223.
