We went to the best restaurant that I would call very resonable. It is called Nebozizek and the web site is www.nebozizek.cz. The site also has an English version. Whatever time of the day you go the view over Prague is stunning whether daylight or by night.
It is situated at the top of the funicular railway which goes up a very steep hill and you will need change for the ride. Also, be aware that cars cannot get to the restaurant in icy conditions.
This slightly complicated journey is well worth the effort. The three of us ate 3 courses of the very best food and drank plenty (but no wine) and the bill only came to £60 sterling. On leaving we were given a brochure showing President Clinton dining in this restaurant with Pavel Havlec. This picture is also on the website under photos.
I hope you get to enjoy this gem.
