Prague or Barcelona?
Hello,
We are totally in doubt of our next citytrip. I know they are completely different in style, but they appeal to us both.
Prague or Barcelona: what is according to you generally the most beautiful city?

Who is the more beautiful woman? Selma Hayek or Anna Kournikova?
Name three cities for us - - a) in Belgium; and b and c in other countries; b) more beautiful than "a", and c) less beautiful than "a" - - and maybe "we" can have a clue how to answer your question.
Best wishes,
Rex

I don't think there is any comparison.
I think you have to choose one of them for this trip and leave the other for the next, because they are both of such different architecture and lifestyles and let's face it, beauty is in the eye of the beholder...
But have a great trip whichever you decide to visit this time.

Good thinking
Well, being Belgian and having been to both Prague and Barcelona, they are very different indeed but both wonderful. Prague is a bit more Bruges-like, while Barcelona is a bit more Antwerp-like, meaning: Prague is more quaint, while Barcelona has more of the city buzz and trendy shops and bars and all.
I'd probably let it depend on the weather in the period you want to travel. And if you choose one for this city trip, then just take the other for the next. I'd go for Prague in winter (especially in the snow) and Barcelona in late spring.

Do a search for internet web sites with photos of each and see which grabs you. I start with goodle image and the name of the city, but you sometimes get more results with the name of a place. Like type in "Charles Bridge Prague". You'll get tons of mediorcre sites but some will have great galleries. Also go to pbase.com and use the search function to search for each city.
I thought Prague was absolutely beautiful but I haven't been to Barcelona yet, I'm planning a trip there next March, so I've used my own advice and viewed hundreds of photos. They are probably both wonderful.
