This is from the Greek government outlining protocols for arrivals & departures. It says in the last but one paragraph that if arrivals are found to have COVID (after sample testing arrivals), the traveller and their escorts are transported to a quarantine hotel. I would assume (& it is only an assumption) that if COVID is contracted during the stay that the same protocol would apply.

If your son tested positively in April for antibodies he may have had COVID-19 and could still test positively on a standard test for up to 3 months. He may wish to test now just to be certain he doesn't have a positive result before you make further plans.
