Positano restaurants

We are visiting Positano in mid-October. Are most of the restaurants and cafes still open at that time of year?

Il San Pietro. The hotel hugs the cliffs outside of town, and the dining room seems to dangle over the ocean - whatta place

If you are going to look for specific restaurants, you always have to check they will be open -- at any time of year.

Thanks for your replies.
I have just had an email from Cafe Positano confirming that they are open.
We have heard that this is a good restaurant.

There's a great restuarant called "Bruno's" located on the main street as you are walking up to the bus stop. We ate there twice while we visited, we sat outside on the sidewalk with a beautiful view overlooking the ocean and the cathedral! Positano is breath taking!

We have just returned from 10 days in Positano.
It is a fantastic place.

I agree with the Mollyann40's comment about "Bruno's". We stayed in an apartment 20 metres down the hill and also ate there twice although it was bit cool to eat outside.

Our favourite restaurant was "Max's" which is on Via dei Mulini.

There are of course many excellent retaurants to choose from.

As a matter of interest the town was starting to close down by the time we left last Thursday.
