The four of us (my wife and another couple) will be in Positano the last week in September. I would like to surprise my wife with something special for her birthday during our stay. Our hotel suggested visiting an agriturismo for quiet dinner (including a birthday cake)called La Sorgente del Melo located about a 1/2 hour above Positano. The views looks spectacular. The area would be great for hiking but our friend has bad knees. Has anyone heard of this place? The owner charges 70E to pick up and return to our hotel. It could be a quaint, unique experience or a total bust. If anyone has heard of this place or has any better ideas, please let me know. Thanks

La Tagliata (www.latagliata-positano.it). It is high, high above Positano in the town of Montepertusso. If your hotel calls for a reservation, they will send a free car for you. Many recommendations.. 089-875872

I think that they all have car service, either free or much, much less than 70E.
