Positano Honeymoon - Hotels
My fiance and I are staying in Positano for several days for our Honeymoon in the first part of Ocotber. We have narrowed our hotel choices down to 3. Please let us know if you have stayed at any of them and then the pros and cons. (Inside note: We want to stay at a hotel under $200 while in Positano so we can splurge on a hotel in Capri).
1. Hotel California
2. La Fenice
3. Hotel Pupetto
Many thanks in advance. This forum has been a tremendous amount of help.

honeymooners04,
congrats! please, please. . pick the hotel that you really want to stay at (even if you think it might be a little too expensive) and email them to ask whether they have "last minute specials" or just "specials" at the time you'll be saving. we saved almost 80euro/night.
have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

We liked the Hotel California very much. Our room and bathroom were large and newly done in beatiful Italian tiles with a small balcony. Breakfast was served on a vine covered terrace that look out over the water. Marie, the owner, was very helpful with reservations for dinner, etc. She and her husband both lived in the US after the WWII and speak English. If you choose the California, be sure to ask for a room on the second level with a balcony. Some of the rooms open onto the terrace, rather than a balcony.
