Bravo--bravo !
Fabulous report and is must reading for anyone considering Portugal.
Steve, I loved your shots at Pena Palace and Marvao. I have that Marvao shot but not at dawn---superb.
As you know, I have one that same route twice. Your report really tells the story---great job !

Steve. Thank you for a wonderful report.
We were in Portugal around the same time and did drive the Douro Valley and Peneda Geres.
The next time we would definitely stay somewhere along the Douro and visit more quintas.
Staying at the Palace Hotel do Bussaco was something out of a fairy tale.
But we did not make it to Evora or surroundings.
What a lovely country and lovely people!
