PORTUGAL: Algarve, photographic trip report
Here are my pictures of the Algarve taken in May 2019. The album follows an east to west pattern which does not always reflect our actual travels.

Temperatures were in the eighties during the day, possibly pushing to the low nineties. We had hotter days earlier in Lisbon with no AC in the apartment. I would worry less about the heat than the crowds in high season. Both the Alentejo and the Algarve tended to be very windy.

Portugal ... sigh!
Really enjoyed your pictures. They brought back so many memories. We have vacationed in Portugal many times in the past. I need to go back ...
Allow me one correction: it's Carvoeiro, not Carvoeira.

My impression is that one should not go there in the height of season unless one wants to simply have sun and sea. We were there in the in-between, still cool enough that there were relatively few people in the water.
