Portoverene, Riomaggiore, or Vernazza?
Hi, almost done for our 1 week stay in Ct, still need book 2 nights, which of the above would you suggest? There arte still hotels available for dates we are interested.
We are not going to hike but rather just would love to walk around and experience village life. We will be in Portofino for few days prior to this. Which one would be the best choice ?
Thanks

Never stayed in Rio, so can't comment on it.
Where else are you staying? That might dictate the choice. Lots of people love Vernazza, but if you're staying in another CT town, you might want to consider Portovenere, which is larger and bit busier, and would be a bit of a contrast to the smaller towns of CT. I liked it.

Riomaggiore and Vernazza have train stations with frequent trains from La Spezia through all 5Terre villages to Sestri - Genoa.
Portovenere is linked to La Spezia by citybus. Some boats to 5Terre during the season only.
Lerici would be another choice in this area: frequent buses to La Spezia.

Have you definitely ruled Manarola out? I loved La Torretta:
