Portable Folding Chair

Where can I find a folding chair that I can carry with me to Italy so I can sit while waiting on lines.

Standing for periods of time is difficult for me and I don't want to give up traveling.

Thanks so much
June

a) try reserving in advance for particular attractions (should this be an option). there is no wait, you simply go in at the appointed time ala the uffizi.

b) buy the chair in italy. why drag it across the atlantic?

Even with reservations I waited 45 minutes after my reservation time at the Uffizi...

We bought light folding chairs at Target. You can also get them at Wal-Mart, although they may be "out of season."

Checked out Magellans website and they have 2 chairs that seem perfect. I will be going to Sicily and Rome in February and I usually need a place to sit for a bit before I can go on with any sightseeing.

Thanks
June

Jody, have you found a source for shooter's seats that don't have a spike on the end?

That thing that folds up like a cane is called "seat cane" and it's sold in medical supply stores. While comfortable it may be heavy so it's better if you buy it not on line.
