Plus Size Shops in Berlin?

I didn't think to ask until I saw the same question for Munich. I would greatly appreciate any advice. I love to shop and this would add to the fun. I'll be staying in the Mitte section but getting around sounds easy.
Thanks

I was thinking the same thing. I was about to post a question about plus size shopping in Berlin but reckoned I should do a board search first to see if the question was addressed before—can’t find any answers. I'm having the hardest time ever doing an online search for plus size women stores in Berlin since I don't know any German and the English language results aren't very helpful. If anyone is living in Germany or visits a lot and knows any good plus size stores there please post!

Don't know of any specific stores, but remember that German sizes are cut more generously than French or Italian. So if you've found you needed a, say, size 50 in France/Italy, you might find you only need a 46 in Germany.
I have a lot of casual German clothes with the Hucke/Raven labels. Mine are size 40/42, but they I have seen them up to size 50, which is...maybe a U.S. 20/22? Maybe even a 24 for some items. They're well made and comfortable and you can find them in most German department stores. Moderately priced.

There will no doubt be a Kaufhof department store. They carry a lot of different brands in sizes from xxs to xxxl.
Specialized brands for plus sizes are Via Appia, Samoon, My Line. They go from (German) 44 upto 54.
If you fall in the regular sizes upto 48 you may also be good with Betty Barclay, Delmod, Gardeur, Gerry Weber, Hirsch and Rosner.
Happy shopping!

Is there a Vogele store in Berlin? They usually have some plus-sized clothing at good prices. For a discount store, a lot of their things are surprisingly well made. I bought some cotton Vogele tops in eight different colors for about $10 each almost 6 years ago and they still look good as new.

Every C&A (low to middle budget store, not super fashionble, but pretty decent clothes)in Germany also has an XL-collection (up to size 54). For stores see: http://www.cunda.de/stores/

Also H&M (low to middle budget, pretty fashionable, but not the greatest quality sometimes) has an XL-collection (BiB; Big is beautiful): www.HM.com

Aanother low to middle budgetstore is M&S (not the Englisch department-store!); www.msmode.com/deutschland

I think someone already mentioned it, but a LOT of German brands run pretty roomy - most XL in regular store clothing is pretty large!
