pls recommend a studio or 1 bdrm

I have never rented an apt in Paris, and will be visiting Ap 5th to 13th, 2008. I know its late to book, but nevertheless, if anyone has a good recommendation in a good location, for a place for 2 to 3 people, pls share! Thanks.

We are currently staying here. Good for a couple -- more occupants possible but it would be tight.

Paying 550 E, VERY inexpensive for this part of Paris, 250 metres from pl. de la Bastille.

Rather over-full of the owner's stuff but otherwise a very good deal.

Tedgale, does this apartment have a double bed plus a sofabed? How large is the sofabed? I hope Paris has warmed up a bit, although we had a good time there (just returned).

To tedgale: Thank you for the recommendation but your apt. is unavailable on my dates. Looks great, though.

We either rent www.vrbo.com/103254 for the private garden and the central location. Or in our other favorite quartier les Batignolles we rent from rentalapartmentparis.com/

We find that the value for money is great in both case.

Beautiful apartments, but like the OP of this thread
I'm looking for a studio to rent for three weeks, and as inexpensively as possible, in the 1,2, but preferably 5th or 6th arrondissment.

Don;t know much about the 3rd and 4th and the Marais.

thanks for any help.

Hi Tedgale,
I searched for a studio or small apt. for rent in Paris and found VRBO#43745 to suit my needs. Then I ran across your message rec. the same apt. Could you give me some comments? You can send them to my email address [email protected]
If all works out, I will be there in September.
Thank you.
