Please help with shipping from Prague

There are three of us ( all ladies who love to shop) going to Eastern Europe for 23 days in Septembrr/October. We are going o a tour that will only allow us one suitcase and one carry-on. We know we'll want to buy lots of crystal and other gifts. Our problem will be having the space to bring it home so we will need to ship . Will most stores ship for us? Where are the best places to shop that will ship? Thanks for the help

In Prague I think all the stores selling Czech glass will ship it for you...certainly the chain of "Blue" stores will ship. Be advised to retain ALL paperwork until your shipment arrives which can sometimes take as long as two months.

We stopped in Prague on a train trip in 2000. We bought eight crystal wine glasses. The store took care of all the arrangments. They arrived in perfect condition. The shipping cost more than the glasses.

Just want to advise you that shipping from stores, such as Crystalex can become very expensive, and can practically be equal to the amount that you spend on crystal. There is an Airborne office in Prague, so I suggest that you have the items packed securely for you in the stores that you shop in and then bring your packages to Airborne. Just an FYI, pack everything together and ship it all to one destination, preferably to your office where someone can sign for it. The worst thing that can happen is that you have an Airborne/Fedex/UPS sticker on your door for days alerting your neighbors and others that you are not home. No need to alert anyone that you're not home so that someone can break in.
