Please help with Italy hotels

We are planning a trip to Italy the first part of April. We already have our airline tickets. We are flying into Milan and spending one night and then taking the train to Venice and taking day trips from Venice. Our 15 yr. old son is traveling w/us and we have all been to Italy before (Rome, Florence, Milan, Venice). However, we need a hotel in Milan and Venice that will accommodate 3 people. Any suggestions? I've been looking at Locanda Orseolo in Venice, good?
Thanks for the help.

I imagine almost all hotels can accommodate 3 people - do you mean in one room ?

The Hotel Riva* in Venice has a great room, on the corner of the first floor of rooms, overlooking two small canals with singing gondoliers. I think it was room number 1. It has a double bed (probably two twins put together), and a twin bed in a small alcove-type area.

Here's my Venice trip report about it:

We stayed here in Milan and it was a great location and a nice hotel. Nothing over the top fancy, but I didn't want that!

Hotel Demidoff
Via Plinio Caio Secondo, 2
20129 Milano,
Phone 39 02 29513898
I booked this through Venere. (www.venere.com)

Been to Venice numerous times. Here is where we stayed this past September. Highly recommend it. They have triples, (my 14 nephew joined me and my DH, and my sister/husband and my brother/wife. The rate was fantastic and the place is beautiful. No elevator of course, but fantastic location and the renovation they did was unreal. Gorgeous place for the money spent.

Locanda La Bricola
San Marco 489
30124 Venezia

Worked with Lorenzo, he is very nice.
