Please help with hotels in CAPRI

We will be in Capri in august for 5 nights with our two teenage daughters. The hotel we are looking for has to have spectacular view from the rooms and also has to be in the center of Capri. View for me and crowd for the girls. The more research I do the more confused I get. Please give me some suggestions. The girls want to go to the clubs at nights. Are the clubs really safe for two 18 & 14 yearl olds to explore on their own? Please advise. Thank you.

Do you let your 14 yr. old roam around "clubs" in the U.S.? If not, why would you even think it's appropriate in Capri. Or do you think that because it's a foreign country "anything goes"?????

No,I don't let my 14 year old roam around the clubs in U.S. I don't even let my 18 year old roam around the clubs and that is why I am trying to find out if the clubs are safe in Capri.I am under the impression that Capri is very, very safe and I want to make sure I am right.

"Safe" for what???? Capri might be "safe" from a low crime point of view, but that doesn't mean that it's Disneyworld!!! It does not mean that it is a good idea to expose your KIDS to an adult environment where, at the very least, alcohol will be involved. I find it difficult to believe that a parent will come to a message board and ask such a no-brainer question like that. Duh!!!!!!

I've heard "when you go to Rome do as the Romans do", but this is taking it to an extreme! LOL!!!!!

This reinforces my belief that parents should be made to take a test before they're allowed to have children. <BR>Yeah, maybe she should let her 14 yr.old go troll at the clubs and then we'll hear how she was sexually harrased.
