I'll keep it short. I have family in Paris and they were here last week. They always take back chewing gum, all flavors. And my cousin had young ones at home and bought beenie babies for them? Oh and this time they bought pancake mix? Must not have it there.

hmm, well i already got a beany baby, haha, so i guess that was a good thing!. And i also have gum. Well, i'm glad you think those are good ideas too. haha, that makes me feel better about some of the stuff i got. But pancake mix, i might have to look into that!

You can get pancake mix in the "foreign foods" section of most larger supermarkets in France, but there's no reason why you shouldn't bring the family some from the States.

Even better - cook the pancakes for the family yourself, and serve them up with maple syrup - if that doesn't convert them to the great American breakfast, I don't know what will!!!!
