Please help me pack for Switzerland this weekend
Husband and I are leaving for Switzerland on April 28 to Skydive for our 4th wedding anniversary
The big jump is Saturday and we are spending the next two days in Wengen. I believe the weather is supposed to be in the low 60s and clear. I am thinking jeans, hiking shoes, windbreaker and long sleeve t-shirts. Is there anything else I should consider when packing? I am assuming this casual attire will be acceptable in any restaurants so no need to haul nicer clothes (we typically would but are trying to avoid checking a bag).
TIA!

TIA!

You are posting on the Europe forum. All postings on European countries end up in this broad forum. There's no way to just post on Switzerland. You can opt to read only Swiss information by doing a search for Switzerland on the Europe forum. Does that make sense?
Weatherwise, I was just in Switzerland a week ago, and it was a bit chilly and some rain. One thing about the weather in Switzerland this time of year, it can change at the drop of a hat! You are probably OK with what you are packing. Casual is accepted pretty much everywhere I've been.

Hi LGBooker,
It's fine where it is -- we can find it easily because it has "Switzerland" in the title.
Selecting an individual country only includes the post in a text search, so anyone doing a search using "Switzerlalnd" on the dd menu won't see this.
Anyway, I just want to suggest that jeans & t-shirt won't be acceptable in "any" restaurant; it wouldn't be appropriate, of course, in the nicer ones. It would be ok for pizzerias and pubs and casual restaurants though. If you want to eat in a nicer place, plan to bring along a nice shirt & jacket, at least.
