Please help me find a restaurant in Florence

We need a special restaurant in Florence or surrounding areas to celebrate a special occasion. Here's what we're looking for:
- they must be able to accomodate 11 people, and it would be nice if it was a private room.
- great food is a must
- it must be 75euro (or under) per person with food and wine
- it can be in Florence or the surrounding areas (we are staying about 10 miles east of the city)
- someone has recommended Villa Pittiana , and we'd love input if anyone has been http://www.ristorantevillapitiana.com/main.htm
thanks for your help

Hi amp,

My favorite restaurant in Florence is 'Fiorino d'Oro' located in piazza Repubblica. It has an outdoor patio area for eating as well if you are interested in having your occasion outdoors if it is an evening that brings you good weather. The waiters are extremely friendly and very attentive.

This restaurant has lots of great Italian food choices as well as a few American dishes for those people who may get sick of pasta, pasta, pasta, or who may not be all that crazy over Italian food. Of course Im sure everyone in your party is looking forward to a nice Italian meal, I was just letting you know there is a small menu of American meal options.

You will most certainly be able to stay within your budget at this restaurant and the pasta dishes are phenomenal.

The address is: Piazza Repubblica 10/r-50125, Firenze

The phone number: 011-39-055-215-139

If you have any further questions about this restuarant please feel free to ask.

We LOVED La Giostra. You can check it out in the Fodor's restaurant reviews and they also have a website (I'm not sure, but it may be restaurantelagiostra.com, or google them).

Hi amp,

Try Il Ritrovo
Via de’ Pucci 4/A
055.281688

Best food for the price Has fish. Full dinner w/wine abt 40E pp Closed Monday
From Pzza San Giovani (NW corner of the Pza del Duomo) walk one blk East to Via dei Martelli. Go left to Via dei Pucci. Turn Right. Look very carefully on left. No sign. Door could be locked. Ring bell.

This is a small restaurant run by a lovely couple. The room is a vaulted basement.

With 11 people, you could arrange for the whole restaurant.

For 75E pp, you will get a great multi-course dinner, and probably dancing girls.

If the menu made you drool, just wait 'til you see the owner's twin sons! OMG!

I believe it is within your pricerange, though I'd have to ask DH to be sure. Besides, I was too busy drooling!!!
