Please help i really need it

My boyfriend went to Cyprus for business he left here last nov 3 and suppose to come back here on 23rd. but it might change if they get a deal and he probably stay there another more 2-3 weeks. so he asked me to join maybe fly there next week for 2-3 weeks my problem is i'm only a green card holder. i heard i need to get schengen visa in order for me to travel to cyprus. if theres any of you here have the same issue like mine pls help me.. what are the requirements to get schengen visa? how long it takes? i don't have bank statement and insurance. and my boyfriend and i have live together for couple of years and we had a daughter.

Suggest you contact the Cyprus embassy or tourism office, as no one on this forum (including me) is qualified to give visa advice.

Whether you require a visa depends upon which country issued your passport. Many people can visit Schengen as a tourist for up to 90 days without a visa, but that's not always the case. The visa will be issued by the country where you first enter Schengen. This may be of help:

Are you going to the Turkish north or to the south of cyprus? The above link is for the Republic of Cyprus which is the south. Visa requirements depend on your nationality and since you have not mentioned it, it's anyone's guess what your entry requirements will be.

Since the OP asked about Schengen, presumably she means Republic of Cyprus.

Check with your embassy you are a citizen of

for correct info careful many visa scammers everywhere.

Rules vary a lot by passport you hold.

None of Cyprus is covered by the Schengen visa. You need to check with the appropriate Cypriot embassy in your own country.
