asd - Yes, as long as you buy it from a mainline Railway station and the ticket has the Railway logo on it. Based on what I've read here, a regular 3 day PAPER travelcard bought from a tube station won't work (due to lack of the railway logo).

Thanks. The catch-word then is "Main Line Train Station" which will provide a card with "Crows Feet."
