very good point and thanks for sharing. I originally wanted to go see it on Monday or Tuesday night, but a good deal came up for Saturday night and I had to take it. Again, thanks for the heads up.

- Royal Observatory Greenwich (mainly just to see the park and the time line)
- Greenwich Market>>>
You're selling Greenwich short. There's loads of stuff you'll kick yourself if you miss. Specifically the Old Naval College and museum and Queens House. Even if you only see them from the outside you'll be happy (inside they're wonderful)
Also there are three markets in Greenwich. The covered market (the one most people mean) which is open thurs-sun for old stuff and has just started opening on wednesday as a farmers market.
There's a flea market by the Picture House and a mixed market opposite the Mitre ( a pub . These directions will make sense when you get here).
BTW one of my secrets is the tea garden at the Fan museum on tuesday and sunday afternoons where they do the full monty afternoon tea. Don't tell anyone else.

jonmck - your final itin looks good. I hope you have a good time in London & Paris. Don't sweat too much about crossing everything on your list. If you can't get to it, you can't get to it. You've gotta leave some places unvisited so that you have an excuse to return! Enjoy your trip!
