PISA ?
We are going from Turin to Pisa early morning by train and then on to Florence in the evening. Any idea if there is a luggage room at the Pisa train station where we can dump our bags while we walk around Pisa?
Also would it be better to go from Turin to Florence and then make a separate day trip to Pisa?

There is definitely a left luggage room at the central Pisa station, I have used it several times - most recently in June last year. Although a great fan of Pisa (Ignore the tacky souvenirs), you may find an entire day too much. The main Campo dei Miracoli is spectacular, and the cathedral and baptistery are well wort a visit.

While they do have a locker at the train station, I would definitely suggest going from Torino to Florence and then making Pisa a daytrip (it only takes an hour to get there). As the last poster mentioned, there really isn't that much to see - the Tower and all of the wonderful stuff in the Camp dei Miracoli and that's about it. You really won't need more than about 4 hours there.
