Pienza hotels

I need help finding a hotel in Pienza. We are staying for 3 nights and will have a car. There are 2 of us. I have tried to search using Fodors and Trip advisor but still no idea of where to stay so I would love some recommendation. Thanks

Monica

Great choice of a place to base yourselves. Pienza was our favorite place. We loved walking through the streets around sunset. It is the memory of our honeymoon we talk about the most. We stayed at a fabulous agriturismo that was just outside of Pienza. We paid just 80E/night and had fabulous accomodations. We really hope to return next summer to just base ourselves there and daytrip around Tuscany. It was Agriturismo Castello la Grancia. We booked it through italyby.com. Feel free to email me at [email protected] if I can answer any questions about it.

Il Chiostro di Pienza is adjacent to the main square and is a delightful place. Its the renovated cloister of the main church. They have a website. And a block away is Il Rossellino, a wonderful mom and pop restaurant with twelve seats.

Thank you for your ideas. Unfortunatly La Trasverse only was available for 2 nights of the 3. I will be working on the other 2 suggestions. If there are more suggestions please feel free to respond.

Try L'Antica Locanda in Pienza. www.lifeinitaly.com/pienza, email: [email protected].

Have reservations for 3-nights in May @ 80 euro.
