Photos of France

Looking at the NYT photos linked in Asia by thursdaysd, I couldn't help but wonder if this (right) was our own ever-vigilant kerouac keeping an eye on things for us:

Mme Perdu, I wonder if we'll ever see a photo of kerouac. I doubt it. He probably prefers to remain on the other side of the camera.
Treesa, your last one is charming, like an unplanned collaboration between a graffiti artist and a ceramicist.

My husband told me there were new photos on this thread. He's not at all a Fodor's person, but he enjoys photos of France as much as any of us so he dips into this thread every day.
.
These are great. Thanks to everybody who has shared. I love seeing France through someone else's eyes.
mms, does the iPhone take photos with rich color? I realize the color has to be there in real life to begin with.
Zebec, you have not said "I am done. The end" so I hope you have more photos up your sleeve. These three have me wanting more, please.

Coquelicot--Yes, the iPhone takes really good pictures! The ones I posted with were older models even. The black and white was with an old SLR though. I love your market picture! I had some great ones of those and cannot find them.

From the Dordogne in 2011
On the trail down from the chateau to the river in Beynac-et-Cazenac
View from Domme
Later in the trip, we went to Provence
Lavender in bloom at Saint-Paul de Mausole
Nice
Then on to Paris
Notre Dame in happier times
In my opinion, the tomb of Marchal Foch at Les Invalides is more impressive than Napoleon's tomb

Nothing special here, just ordinary stuff in the garden this year....
Have no idea what this is; it just popped up yesterday
Bougainvillea, about to bloom!
Wildflowers in the lawn
Sundown
Outside Le Marché des Capucins, Bordeaux
Figs!
Another rainbow day
My lilacs are going to bloom at last!

I am loving the photos. I am not tech savvy and all our photos are stored elsewhere. Coquelicot, we watched the Perche episode of Les carnets the other night, and last night the Anjou episode. I am working on P to convince him we should be we should visit some of these areas if we have any retirement money left after this is over.
Stay safe.
