Personalized guide and services in Paris

Our family had the pleasure of using this service in Paris, website: www.parispersonalized.com. She helped make our trip to Paris one of the best trips we have ever taken. She is highly knowledgeable about the history of Paris and her walks were interesting and aesthetically pleasing. We especially loved the morning we spent combining history, open air markets, lunch on the Ile St Louis using her private photographer. The black and white pictures were stunning and the picture book is one our happiest momentos. Our children loved her upbeat style, introducing our son to French rap. They couldn't wait to see her daily. She organized a fabulous picnic at Versailles after a private tour with her historian and my husband still raves about it. The attention to details was unduplicated. We gave her an idea of our interests and she put together a fantastic itinerary, also booking restaurants we would never have found. We are recommending her to everyone!!

This is the second time in 2 weeks you have posted the same thing.

I thought it was odd the first time - now I definitely think it is promotional.

Any chance you are she? Getting a kick back?

I sent the first message and when I checked it the next day, I couldn't find it. Hence, the second message. I don't think there is anything wrong in talking about a good quality service which bought a lot of joy to myself and my family. We have limited vacation time with each other and it's important we spend it in the best possible way. This service and any others like it are very appreciated and worth the money. However, I do find it wrong for someone to send an anonymous reply to try and discredit people and mislead readers.

Nella,

I am sorry that you received such a negative anon. reply- but I too can vouch for her, I have known her for a few years and when it comes to knowing Paris, she is a REAL professional and loves her 'job'...she is an amazing woman and I'm happy to see you found her and discovered a different side of Paris through her.
Best wishes, Wendy

I was intrigued by this string of messages, so I looked at www.parispersonalized.com. The graphics are impressive, and Antoinette's proposal sounds very appealing. In your opinion, was the experience worth the price? And, what is the depth of her knowledge? I've been to Paris many times and am quite resourceful. I would be interested in having a tour that could beat any tour I would put together myself.
