Passport Status- What's after processing?

I'm just wondering if they update the site to tell you it has been shipped or something. I haven't seen any posts about the passport issue that say anything but being processed, so I was just curious. Thanks!

I just got mine two days ago. When I checked the website on the day I received it, it said "still processing." Now it says:

We have finished processing your passport, and it has been mailed to you.

You paid for overnight delivery. This means you should receive your passport on or about 05/13/2007.

So I wouldn't count on the website having the most up-to-date info!

I also got that "processing" message for several weeks and started to get nervous. Called my congressman's local office (I live in CA) and in less than a week, my renewed passport arrived (today!!!) priority mail. They said they can tell from the tracking number exactly where it's being processed and then intervene to get it finished. Mine took 10 weeks - I didn't know when I sent in the renewal that I would need it for a trip 2 weeks from today, so didn't pay extra to expedite.

Now I'm curious to see what my "status" is on the website. Good luck!!
