parisby.com?

Does anyone have any experience making a hotel reservation with parisby.com?? Just wanted to make sure that if we book this way, there will actually be a room reserved for us upon our arrival! Thanks in advance...

I have not used their site to book rooms. Instead I use their site to look at the great photos of hotels I'm interested in. Then I contact those hotels directly. I'd rather book directly with the hotel then I'm pretty much confident I'm getting the room I want. Also I can always contact the hotel to get any information I need. Parisby.com does have an extensive photo album for each hotel, sometimes much better than the hotel's website!

We've booked with Parisby and with affilliates on the Worldby.com site. Never had a problem. Site pictures are usually very good down to the fixtures in the bathrooms. They are very efficient and will even provide you a sort of ombudsman to run interference with the hotels if you had a problem (I didn't get the required 24 or 48 hour response the site promises and my ombudsman got in touch with the hotel and got them to answer right away.) Rates are in line with what hotels themselves charge. Check on the cancellation policies. They differ by hotel and some may be long. We like this site a lot.

Thank you!

I'm new to this board, and am just impressed by the thorough and useful responses here.

I've booked numerous times through worldby.com affiliates with no problem as well. I've also cancelled many of the reservations I made with them without any problem - just read the details before you confirm your reservation.
