Paris-Versailles RER

Does anyone knows the price for a ticket from Javel station to Versailles? Also do you know where can I find a schedule for the RER to Versailles?
Thanks,

I think you should be able to get both questions answered at www.ratp.fr

I think you can get that schedule on RATP, but there is no need to worry about that as trains leave about every 20-30 minutes. I think the ticket is about 5 euro, not sure.

Obijuan-

If I remember correctly, the RER-C line is under SNCF management and not RATP. I tried in the past to find information on RATP website regarding going to Versailles but no luck (at least not on the English version).

The price for the RER ticket is about €5 roundtrip. Here's Rick Steves' website about getting to Versailles:
http://www.ricksteves.com/plan/countries/versail.htm

The schedule can be found on SNCF's website. You have to punch in the time you plan to travel, and it will spit out the actual time schedule:

the RATP website schedule lists all the rer c trains to versailles as departing from Javel. My hotel is near gare d austerlitz. Can we get the same trains from austerlitz? Is there any advantage of using Javel? thanks

Hi Sam-

The section of RER C between Gare d'Austerlitz & Invalides is currently closed until Aug 22, and there is a shuttle bus running between the 2 stations instead. There is a recent thread about it, and the bus sounded like a pain in the neck. But if you are going after Aug 22 (and hopefully the work will be done as they promised), then you can surely take the RER from Gard d'Austerlitz.
