Paris updates?
Hi,
We're flying to Paris on Monday for a six-night vacation -- would you be willing to shared any last-minute updates about goings-on or current events recently taking place in the city? We're staying at the Roma Sacre Coeur on Rue Caulaincourt in Montmartre. Many thanks.
Linda

You are going to be there for all the Libération commemorations -- how exciting. Do report back . . .

Paris Office of Tourism website with current events:
http://www.parisbienvenue.com/
And this is pretty current, although TimeOut has discontinued its Paris publication:
http://www.timeout.com/paris/thisweek.php
Hope the weather cooperates...it's supposed to clear up in the next few days, I think. Have a good time.

visit the ratp.fr site click on infotraffic/ratp to see which metro stations are out of action. mark them on your metro map. the list is not very long but you will be surprised how much your journeys around town will be affected by them and how many detours you will need to take. have fun.
