Paris Travel Tips?

Hi:

I know this probably sounds stupid but I was wondering some information. I am going to Paris this summer and I was wondering if I should go for a whole week or just for a couple of days? I was also wondering if it is appropriate for ladies to go to the Moulin Rouge? Thanks for you information

My wife and I spent 2 days in Versailles and 5 in Paris. It was just right. We landed and went directly to Versailles (be sure to see the chateau at night), the next afternoon we went to Paris.

Each day we took the metro to a different district and walked back to the hotel. There is little we missed, be sure to climb to the top of Notre Dame that and the Eiffel Tower offer great views.

I agree, you would need about five days in Paris to see the main sites. I stayed there and made a day trip to Versailles. Also did a day trip to London.

You'll have a great time. Paris is a wonderful city.

Amanda
Everyone's tastes are different, but my first trip to Paris was a week, and like the others that was about right because it allowed time for a couple of daytrips.
I have a file on Paris; if you'd like to see it, email me
Enjoy your trip

Paris is a great jumping off point for day trips as well, to Versailles, Chartres and even Mont St. Michel. So if you get bored or run out of things to do (gasp!), then you have some other options
