Paris Taxi question
I will need to get from Montparnasse to Gare Lyon to get a 7:15 train. I've ruled out the bus or metro because of our luggage situation.
Questions regarding my two options:
1. Any ballpark idea on a taxi fare?
2. I think the bus we take from CDG to Gare Montparnasse stops at Gare Lyon- if that's true, would it be possible to catch the return to the airport route but get off at Gare Lyon? Any idea how early those busses start running?
Thanks.

1. I'd be surprised if it cost 15€. What is your "luggage situation?" If you can carry everything in two hands, a N° 91 bus would be ideal.

2. I don't think Air France would want to mess with unloading your luggage. And there's no local fare anyway.

The bus you mentioned start running around 6:45/7:00 AM
so I think you're only viable option is the taxi. I don't want to seem cruel, but what's the diference in your European trip if the taxi fare is 10 or 15 euros?

The Air France coach would cost more, as it w/b about 12€ per person, and then there is the luggage offload... a taxi s/b around 15-20€ for 2 people and a couple of bags; add a couple euro more for each person/bag extra...your hotel can arrange for one the day before... note that it may arrive with some cost already on the meter, as the meter starts from when they leave their post.

Thanks all. I was inclined to the taxi, just wanted to be sure it wasn't some obvious easy alternative or a ridiculous fare (or to steel myself).
Thanks Robespierre, I plan to take the bus quite a bit when I'm there (and many of your suggestions as I've prepared for the trip have been extremely helpful) but the idea of lugging luggage, etc. up onto a regular bus is not so appealing.

Just to set the record straight: according to http://ratp.info (click Horaires, then Bus), the first N° 91 leaves Montparnasse at 6h00 Mon-Sat and 7h00 on Sun.
But I respect the OP's decision to carry that much luggage. How do you plan to get it into a train?
