Paris restaurant close to the Champs Elysees

Need a quick recommendation for a restaurant ~$30-50/person + wine close to the Champs Elysees (around the 100 block) for dinner this Saturday. Doesn't need to be fancy. Want an enjoyable 1-night layover in Paris.

Thanks.

Hi, is that close to your hotel? It might be easier for someone if you mention the hotel name.. I don't offhand know where the "100 block" of the Champs is..

We had a delightful dinner at Lauduree, located at 75 Champs Elysees, tel. 01 40 75 08 75. I believe they have a prix fixe dinner within your price range. There are three or four different themed dining rooms on the first floor (what we call the second floor).

Our favorite inexpensive spot near the mid-point of the Champs is Bar des Theatres on Avenue Montaigne, across from the big theatre there and the Plaza Athenee hotel. Draws a crowd of mostly locals, staff from the various designer boutiques and chauffeurs, etc., for the clients of the PA. Lots of good gossip flying about; congenial staff, good French "comfort food", nice little wine list.

Or go to Spoon; that's close and I found it enjoyable.
