I was happy to hear your observations as a first timer. I have persuaded my reluctant-to-travel-to-Europe sister-in-law to go to Paris with me in March, and I hope she enjoys it as much as you did. I'm trying to plan a good mix of sightseeing, shopping, culture, etc.
For a hostess gift on T-giving, I gave her a little book called Betty and Rita Go to Paris, which I found at Anthropologie. It's a compilation of black and white photographs, with some simple rhymes, of 2 dogs (labs)"doing" Paris, such as walking out of a cafe with baguettes in their mouths!

Seafox - Wow, what a great website for beautiful ceramics. I am already getting the itch to shop again in France. Darn it, my husband says France again in two years. I guess I will just have to make do with Spanish pottery on my Barcelona trip
I already have a line on this great little ceramic tile shop.....
