Paris Pied a terre

Has anyone rented from PAris pied-a-terre. The owners are Charla & Walid Halabi. We are renting the Passy apartment in the 16th. Any info would be great.

Several years ago we put a deposit on one of their apartments and changed our plans. Walid cheerfully refunded our deposit.

We had visited the apartment before renting it. It was quite nice, clean, and in a pleasant residential area of the 7th arrondissement. I would have no hesitation in renting from Walid and Charla, but can't help with specifics as I haven't seen any of their other apartments.

Thank you so much for your reply. We have already booked. but it is always so very comforting to hear something good. This is our first time to rent an apartment and it can be a little nerve wracking.

Busyboy me just took a look at your apartment. I sounds lovely and in a wonderful area.

I particularily like the fact that the professional way they explain each and every condition and charge. That is the way all rentals should be handled up front.

The only thing that bugged cheapskate me, is 20 euros a week for extra towels. Oh well, you can always throw them in the washing machine with your clothes. Also, I didn't see any mention of TP, paper towels, dishwashing soap, dishwasher soap, washing machine soap etc..

We've rented places that gave us generous supplies, and other time we had to go out almost immediately and buy TP and cleaning supplies. Now I ask up front, so as not to be surprised.

They sound as if they really care for and about their apartments.

Please post a trip report when you return.

Enjoy,

Nina

Correction ... I'm not a busy boy, I'm a busy body ---- big difference.
